He was predeceased by: his mother Virgie May; and his brothers, Joe, Tom, Jack and James "Tater" May.
He is survived by: his wife Sherby May; his children, Debbie Cosgrove (Greg) of Philadelphia, Bobby May (Tonya) of Philadelphia and Brian Stark (Julie Ramos) of Tenafly, N. J.; his grandchildren, Brittany, Kelsey Cosgrove, J. C. May and Eliana Stark; and his sister Carolyn Williamson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
