She was predeceased by: her husband Chandler O'Neil Smith; and her siblings, Margie Hardesty and Jimmy Jackson. She is survived by: her sons, O'Neil Smith (Cindy) of Cedar Bluff, MS and Lee Smith (Jackie) of Ackerman; her grandchildren, Amy King (Darryl), Leslie Ezelle (Travis) and Chandler Smith (Shay); her great grandchildren, Mary Chandler King, Natalie King, Lorin Ezelle and Max Ezelle; and her sister Madeline Vuncannon (Tom) of Philadelphia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
