She is survived by: her children, James Peebles of Philadelphia, MS, Joe Peebles of Philadelphia, MS and Connie Peebles (Annie Lou) of Philadelphia, MS. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 2 great - great children, and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Greenfield M. B. Church (10841 Rd 610, Philadelphia, MS 39350). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at the Greenfield M. B Church Cemetery (10841 Rd 610, Philadelphia, MS 39350).
