She was predeceased by: her husbands, Albert Carnell Hardy and Hayes White; her children, Douglas Earle Hardy and Debra Hardy Johnston; her parents, Charlie Chamblee and Mae Porter Chamblee; and her brothers, Alvin Chamblee, Castle Chamblee and Virtis Chamblee.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Hardy (Kathy), Charles Hardy, Terry Hardy and Pam Kilpatrick (Mark); her stepsons, Bob White (Lindsey) of Philadelphia, Allen White (Retta) of Philadelphia and Mack White of Philadelphia; and her siblings, Creasey Richardson (Willie Hayes) of Philadelphia and Eirtis Chamblee (Juanita) of Philadelphia. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
