He is survived by: his wife Kathy Purvis of Petal; his sons, Bubba Williams (Sharon Clark) of Milton, FL and Matthew Purvis (Kari Zendejas) of Hattiesburg; his grandchildren, Skyla Monk (Elijah), C. J. Williams and Bron Purvis; his great grandchild Branson "Peanut" Monk; and his siblings, Betty Jo Purvis Beech of Hurley, MS, Brenda Sue Purvis McComb of Waveland, MS, Sharon Purvis Lee of Poplarville and Bobby Purvis (Davina) of Blairsville, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
