He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Mathis Godwin; his son Nathan Godwin of Petal; his mother Mary Lou Godwin of Petal; his sister Kim Young of Sumrall; his niece Shelby Young of Sumrall; his nephew J. D. Young of Sumrall; and his mother-in-law Elaine Mathis of Petal.
