He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Byrd; his brother Wendall Byrd; his father-in-law C. W. Delk; and his brothers-in-law, David Delk (Vicky) and Wayne Delk.

He is survived by: his wife Delorse Byrd of Oak Grove; his children, William Graham (Tiffany), Jessie Graham, IV of Oak Grove, Tony Byrd of Hattiesburg, Christy Uldrick of Petal and Susie Byrd; his mother Mary Byrd of Brookhaven; his mother-in-law Vicky Saulters Delk of Prentiss; his brothers, Robert Byrd (Bridgett) of Brookhaven and Jeffery Byrd (Beverly) of Petal; his brother-in-law Brad Delk (Angelica) of Prentiss; and his grandchildren, Megan Uldrick, Hunter Uldrick, Zach Graham and Jacob Graham.
