He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Wilks and Jewell Wilks; his wife Dean Miller; and his brothers, Bennie Wilks and John L. Wilks.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Delk (James) of Petal, MS, Barbara K. Pulliam of Petal, MS and Sedgie Wilks, Jr. of Crystal Springs, MS; and his grandson Christopher Pulliam. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
