She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby Parker and Joyce Parker; her grandparents, Benny Lee, Audrey Parker, Samuel and Margaret Evans; and her stepfather Burt Davis.

She is survived by: her children, William Shane Byrd, Jr. (Veronica) of Petal, Danielle Nicole Pierce (Andrew) of Petal and Justin Levi Shane Trotter of Petal; her grandchildren, Bailey Byrd, Andrew Pierce, Jr., Kayleanna Martin, Abel Pierce, Brantley Byrd and Kayson Byrd; and her stepmother Pamela Parker. She is also survived by 10 brothers; 7 sisters.
