We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2020, at the age of 88, Russell David Edwards Jr. (Petal, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Edwards and Azaline Edwards; and his brother Fulton Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Velma Edwards of Petal; his children, Sheilda Hensarling (David) of Petal, Ronnie Edwards (Becky) of Petal and Randall Edwards of Petal; his grandchildren, Brad Hensarling of Norman, OK, Ryan Hensarling (Diana) of Pensacola, FL and Clint Edwards of Petal; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Tristan of Norman, OK, Nolan and Harper of Pensacola, FL..

Due to COVID-19 limitations, the family will have a private graveside service on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Sunrise Baptist Church Cemetery.
