He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Peters; his son Earl Ray Peters; and his daughter-in-law Pat Peters. He is survived by: his sons, George Peters of Petal and Douglas Peters of Petal; his grandson Cody Peters (Catherine) of Petal; his great grandchildren, Garit and Eli; his uncles, Jimmy Reeves of Alabama and Bailey Reeves of Oloh; his nephew Stan Peters of Crestview, FL; and his nieces, Roby Sutter and Janet Everett.
