He was predeceased by: his wife Pat Pierce; his parents, Luther "Luke" Pierce and Ruth Pierce; his siblings, Kenneth "Kenny" Pierce, Sr., Doris Bryant and Shirley Pierce; and his nieces, Kimberly Pierce, Belinda Pierce and Sherry Lynn Pierce.

He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Sanford (Bobby) of Hattiesburg and Eddy Pierce (Sally) of Seminary; his nephew Kenneth "Ken" Darwin, Jr. (Nelda) of Hattiesburg; and his cousin Calvin Morris of Gulfport.
