He was predeceased by: his parent Mildred Strickland; his sister Peggy Roberts; and his children, Tambra Lynn Fountain and Richard Allen Strickland, Jr.. He is survived by: his son Neil Strickland (Stacy) of Ocean Springs; and his siblings, Charlie Strickland (Sue) of Hattiesburg, Tommy Strickland (Jolene) of Petal, Steve Strickland (Shirley) of Hattiesburg and Cathy Robinson of Petal. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
