Ralph R. Yawn Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ralph R. Yawn of Petal, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ralph R. Yawn to pay them a last tribute.
Though Ralph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ralph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Yawn and Annie Yawn; and his sister Carolyn Justice. He is survived by: his wife Doris Yawn of Petal; his siblings, Kathleen Jones of Petal, Betty Davenport of Rawls Springs and John W. Yawn of Petal; and his siblings-in-law, Patsy Hughes (George) of Picayune and James Justice of Petal. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Moore Petal Chapel (789 E Central Ave, Petal, MS 39465). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (300 Hillcrest Loop, Petal, MS 39465). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
