She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Byrd and Earline Byrd; and her siblings, Beverly Herring, John Paul Byrd and James Earl Byrd.
She is survived by: her husband Troy Eugene Hinton of Petal; her children, Troy E. "Mud Bug" Hinton, Jr. of Richton and Patricia Renee Mulloy (Tommy) of Ellisville; her grandchildren, Briann Hanley (Jesse) of Petal and Blake Gerald of Petal; her great grandchildren, Ethan Hanley of Petal and Ellie Hanley of Petal; her brother Paul "Mac" Byrd (Libby) of Beaumont; her nieces, Sonya A. Pearce, Jennifer Garaway and Joani M. Garris; her nephew Huck Garris; and her sister Betty Freeman of Brandon.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bethel Freewill Baptist Church (192 Freewill Church Rd, Richton, MS 39476). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
