He was predeceased by: his parents, Murphy Ambrose Bond and Retha Naomi Bond (Smith); and his siblings, Ross (Carol), Roy (Doris), Everett (Charlene) and Patty Hinson (Joel).

He is survived by: his family Magnolia; his children, Bradley Bond (Deborah) of Petal and Shannon Bond James (Rick) of Huntsville, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Taylor James (Marci), Hayley James Corder (Paul), Tucker James (Katelyn), Zoe Bond Yohe (Tanner) and Gareth Bond (Kylie); his great grandchildren, Shiloh, Madeline, Rhett and Eli James; his grandchildren, Hadley Grace, Poppy Corder and Evangeline James; and his brother Bob (Sharon) of Fairhope. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Petal Harvey Baptist Church (600 S Main St, Petal, MS 39465). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (270 Old Hwy 98 E, Tylertown, MS 39667).
