He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Thomas and Imogene Williams Thomas; and his siblings, James "Hopper" Lewis Thomas, William "Pepper" Dalton Thomas and Betty Jean Thomas Kruk.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Horner Thomas; his children, Paul Thomas (Ginger) and Betty Ann Conerly (Randy); his grandchildren, Emma Thomas (Clayton), Mary Tucker (Stephen), Sean Conerly (Kendall) and Logan Conerly (Anna Grace); and his great grandchildren, Lane Tucker, Eva Tucker, Deacon Conerly and Dane Conerly.
