We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2022, at the age of 64, Michael Herold Hammett of Petal, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emry Hammett and Doris Hammett; and his sister Libby Pittman. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Hammett of Petal, MS; his sons, Daniel Hammett (Ashley) of Petal, MS and David Hammett (Lisa) of Berrien Springs, MI; and his brother-in-law Rusty Pittman of Diamondhead, MS. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
