She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Thornton and Jeanette Thornton; and her siblings, H. B. Thornton and Brenda Joyce Rayburn. She is survived by: her daughters, Amanda Bond (Davis) and Tammy Shields; her grandchildren, Joseph Shields, Leann Shields, Hannah Shields, Alison Brooks (Cole) and Erica Williams; and her great grandchildren, Bently Shields, C. J. Brooks, Caden Brooks and Gracelyn Shields.
