She is survived by: her children, Greg Bates (Pam) of Hattiesburg, MS, Grant Bates (Jill) of Petal, MS, Garren Bates (Annabeth) of Hattiesburg, MS, Beverly Bates of Petal, MS, Becky Boles of Magee, MS and Brenda Turner (James) of Moselle, MS; and her siblings, Wilma Jones of Petal, MS, Judy Ray of Pensacola, FL and Jim Herchenhahn of Wilmington, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
