Lorraine Dove Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Dove of Petal, Mississippi, who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmie Dove; her parents, Reese Polk and Idella Polk; and her sister Rachel Broome. She is survived by: her daughter Kim Dove of Petal; her grandchildren, Summer Simmons (Tim) of Houston, TX, Jimmie Kangeter of Petal and Chance Watson (Missy) of Hattiesburg; her great grandchildren, Anna Murdock, Raegan Kangeter, Lex Simmons, Lala Simmons and Ridley Simmons; and her sisters, Mary Ann Steverson of Prentiss and Gail Doherty of Athens, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Homes of Hope for Children.
