She was predeceased by: her son Malcolm Charles Garner, Jr.; and her grandfather Richard Dean McLendon. She is survived by: her daughter Candice Jean Ward; her grandchildren, Johnnie, Kaylea, Kassidy, Karly and Dakota; her mother Gloria Jean; her stepfather Marvin Courtney; her brother Bobby Sullivan; her sister-in-law Pam Sullivan; her sisters, Eloise Collier and Inez Bryant; her grandmother Juanita McLendon; and her uncle Richard McLendon, Jr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
