We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2025, at the age of 78, Linda Joanne Schrimpshire of Petal, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Montgomery and Josie Virginia Wright; her husband Richard W. Schrimpshire Sr.; and her grandson Justin Alton Warden. She is survived by: her children, Jolynn Schrimpshire (Bobby Brady) of Petal and Richard W. Schrimpshire, Jr. (Angie) of Petal; her brother Ronald Wright (Brenda) of Quitman; and her grandchildren, Evan Warden of Petal, Terra Chitwood (Ryan James) of Petal, Colby Warden (Angie Herbert) of Seminary, Katlyn Johnson (Austin) of Williston, ND, Shelby Montgomery (Casey) of Laurel and Kadyn Schrimpshire of Williston, ND. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home (789 MS-42, Petal, MS 39465). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Moore Funeral Service - Petal (789 E Central Ave, Petal, MS 39465). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Seminary Cemetery.
