She is survived by: her husband Robert M. "Sonny" Broom of Petal; her son David Hession (Elisabeth) of Vienna, Austria; her stepdaughters, Stacy Broom Tanksley of Columbia and Misty Broom Myrick (Michael) of Hattiesburg; her brothers, Walter Ford Fennell (Glenda) of Hazlehurst and Richard Charles Fennell; her sisters-in-law, Olivia Alumbaugh of Petal, Debbie Abbott of Petal and Deanna Fennell; her granddaughter Mathilda Rose Hession of Vienna, Austria; and her stepgrandchild Carly Dunaway (Daniel) of Sumrall. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or to Sunrise Baptist Church.
