She was predeceased by: her parents, Alban Hooker and Rachel Hooker; and her former husband V. J. Hoda, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Jude Hoda (Susan) of Petal, Joey Hoda (Jana) of Hattiesburg and Melinda Engle (Christian) of Baton Rouge, LA; her grandchildren, Marshal Hoda, Parker Hoda, Bret Hoda, Brady Hoda (Rebecca), Jack Hoda, Cole Engle and Callie Engle; her sister Karen Walton of Houston, TX; her nephews, Blaine Walton and Ethan Walton; and her great-nephew Braden Walton.
