We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2021, at the age of 77, Kathleen Petty of Petal, Mississippi, born in Lawrence, Mississippi passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathleen Petty to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis Price Williamson and Lillian Thames; her son Andy Carney; and her sisters, Virginia Williamson Graham and Linda Williamson Russell Wallace.

She is survived by: her husband Jakie Petty; her daughter Trish Carney Smith; her stepson Michael Petty; her grandchildren, Amanda Smith Perez (Juan), Katie Smith Martin (Chris), Brooke Carney and Evan Petty; her great grandchildren, Hayden, Zoey, Khloe, Kenndal, Addelynn Kathleen and Stevie; and her siblings, Peggy Williamson Jeanes, Sue Huff Williamson, Becky Thames Puckett (Bill) and Hollis P. Williamson, Jr.. She is also survived by niece and nephews.
