He is survived by: his children, Susan Clark (Shane) of Petal and John Sims, Jr. of Laurel; his grandchildren, Austin Reed, Braden Clark and Emily Clark; and his siblings, Clarence Sims, Jr. of Laurel, Linda Sims Nix (Stanley) of Marietta, GA and Robert Thomas Sims (Sandra) of Taylorsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
