He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Gerlach and Edith Gerlach; and his grandson Brent Carlton. He is survived by: his wife Lynda McKenzie Gerlach; his children, Don W. Gerlach, Michael J. Gerlach, Sharon McGee (Larry) of Pearl River, LA, Teri Richardson (Steve) of Ponchatoula, LA and Debbie Shake (Michael) of Berryville, VA; and his brother Jimmie Gerlach of Hattiesburg, MS. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
