It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Jones of Petal, Mississippi, born in Lockesburg, Arkansas, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Jones and Velma Jones; and his sister Nelda Hooker. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jones of Petal; his children, Crystal Tollett of Nashville, AR, Jay Jones of Richton and Monty Jones (Peggy Sue) of Petal; and his brother Hubert Jones (Laura) of Hot Springs, AR.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
