He is survived by: his wife Peggy Upshaw Cross; his daughters, Delana Cross Evans (William Forrest Evans) of Huntsville, AL and Tara "Lee" Cross Crow (Robert Loren Crow) of Fairview, TN; his grandchildren, Grace, Galen Evans, Tiana and Anika Crow; his former wife Lana Mertz Cross; his nephew Michael Shane Cross; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Abbie and Kyle Cross; his niece Megan Melinda Cross; his great grandchildren, Skylar, Trenton, Zander and Sophia Dewitt; and also, Maryleigh Cross, Karlie, Eli Upshaw, Michael Upshaw and Jackson Upshaw.
