He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Holt Cable and Ethel Naomi Cable (Queen); his brothers, Adolph, Jack and Keith; and his grandsons, Danton Monteleone and Mathieu Poulin.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia; his daughters, Tyra Cable Monteleone (Chris) of Maryville, Sonya Cable Kirk (Lincoln) of Maryville and Rebecca Cable of Petal, Mississippi; his brother Joseph Earl Cable (Evelyn); his grandchildren, Andre Poulin (Katelyn), Nick Monteleone (Becca), Tylor Cable, Jacob Lee, Zane Kirk, Vincenzina Monteleone and Emma Grace Kirk; and his great grandchildren, Atticus Poulin, Calvin Monteleone and Maverick Monteleone.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
