He is survived by: his children, Trish Carney Smith and Michael Ray Petty; his mother Imogene Clark; his grandchildren, Amanda Smith Perez (Juan), Katie Smith Martin (Chris), Brooke Carney and Evan Petty; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Zoey, Khloe, Kenndal, Addelynn Kathleen and Stevie; and his sister Rhonda Tate.
