He was predeceased by: his mother Ruthie Newell; and his sister Louise Quigley. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Newell of Petal; his children, Michelle Newell of Gulf Breeze, FL, Melissa Darke of Denver, CO, Sammy Garner (Martha) of Laurel and Billy Garner of Hattiesburg; his grandchildren, Cooper Darke, Bailey Darke, Justin Garner and Jared Garner; his great grandchildren, Peyton Garner, Addie Garner, Rayce Garner, Hannah Grace Garner and Bexley Rose Garner; and his sisters, Nora McMichael and Hazel Squires.
