It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Jean Odom Ward of Petal, Mississippi, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee L. Odom and Jo Pearl Odom; her sister Eleanor Stone; and her great grandchild Grant Riley Ward. She is survived by: her husband Willie C. Ward of Petal; her children, Cindee Skelton (Tony) of Gautier and Willie Allen Ward, Sr. (Rhonda) of Temple, TX; her grandchildren, Willie Allen Ward, Jr. (Kayla) of Temple, TX, Katye Henry (L. J.) of Madisonville, LA, Lacey Hall of Temple, TX and Laura Penny (Britt) of Covington, LA; and her brother Hal Odom (Teresa) of Petal. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
