She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph Smith and Phyllis Smith; her husband David Smith; her daughter Pattye Jenkins McMurry; and her siblings, Bill, Maurice, Denny Merl, Franklin (Ann), Phillip (Marie) and Gloria (Billy).

She is survived by: her former husband Tommy Jenkins; her children, Tom Jenkins (Dinah) and Angela Edwards; her stepchildren, Michael Anthony Smith (Anna), Suzanne Smith Lee (Leroy) and Barbie Smith May (J. Terrell); her grandchildren, Kyle McMurry, Austin McMurry, Canton McMurry (Kayla), Morgan McMurry, Cooper Edwards, Andy Edwards (Amber), Danley Jenkins Herring (Chris), Allana Jenkins Powe (Eric), Heath Lee (Melissa), Madi May Green (Michael) and Matthew May; and her great grandchildren, Carson McMurry, Annaleigh Grace McMurry, Gracie Elizabeth Powe, Ryan Elliot Powe, Murphy Wren Edwards, Anna Grace Lee, Addison Lee, Charli Green, Johnson Green and Herring.
