She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Dewey Fleming and Beulah Rainey Fleming; her husband Clifton Earl Ellis Sr.; her grandson Chance Ellis; her brothers, Bill Fleming and Dewey Fleming; and her sister-in-law Betty Fleming.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Ellis Gandy (Thames) of Hattiesburg, Frances "Fran" Ellis Powell of Brandon and Earl Ellis (Gaye) of Petal; her sister Donna Lee (Bobby) of Milton, Florida; and her sister-in-law Jo Fleming of Dalton, Georgia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren.
