She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Ray Taylor; her parents, Van Buren Strahan Sr. and Clara Lee Strahan; and her siblings, Grace Strahan Sandlin, Frances Strahan, Van Buren Strahan and Lawrence Powell Strahan.
She is survived by: her children, Lee Taylor (Carol) and Susan Collier (David); her grandchildren, Steven Taylor, Christen Kirkwood (Kenny), Amy Meyers (Adam), Katie Wells (Jeremie) and Holly Collier (Chad); her great grandchildren, Declan, Maris Kirkwood, Greyson, Taylor Wells, Weston, Laurel Byrd and Barrett Meyers; and her cousin Joanne Ward. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
