She was predeceased by: her husband Willie D. Pierce; her parents, Ernst Schaefer and Auguste Schaefer; and her sister Karin Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Werner Pierce (Martha), John Pierce (Linda), Dean Pierce (Melissa), Stanley Pierce (Danell) and Bryan Pierce (Missy); her grandchildren, Michael Pierce (Amber), Chas Pierce (Casey), Andy Pierce (Lauren), Samantha Pierce, Meredith Thornhill (Marshall), Bradly Pierce, Matt Pierce, Jake Pierce, Faith Pierce, Haylee Morgan (Asa), Hunter Pierce, Kaylen Pierce, Mallory Pierce and Gavin Pierce; and her great grandchildren, Michael Jr., Logan, Dylan, Mason, Mackenzie, Keller and Collins.
Due to the current state and local mandates regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic, there will be a memorial service held at a later date.
