He was predeceased by: his wife Claudia Fillingane; his daughter Karen Morgan; his parents, Abner Fillingane and Catherine Fillingane; and his siblings, R. J., Claude, Dan (Tuck), Christine, Helen, Evelyn and Beulah.

He is survived by: his son Doug Fillingane (Karen Rodriquez) of Hattiesburg; and his sisters, Sarah Fillingane of Janice and Margaret Walters of Janice.
