He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter David and Clara Jo Carpenter; and his brother Milton Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Connie Carpenter of Petal; his sons, Dennis Todd Carpenter and Corey Ryan Carpenter; his granddaughters, Lauren Taylor Carpenter, Calyn Grace Carpenter and Rey Emersyn Carpenter; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Sue Carpenter, Brenda Lammons (David), Debbie McGrew (Earl), Judy Beliveau (David), William Dubose and Edwin Dubose (Martha). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and one grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Petal First Baptist Church Building fund or Southern Care Hospice (Kindred At Home Foundation).
