He was predeceased by: his parents, Reu Phillips and Polly Phillips; and his siblings, Mignon Landrum, Bertha Williamson, Leon Phillips (Peg) of Petal and Herbert Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Phillips of Petal; his children, Donna Goff (Aaron) of Petal and Robert Phillips of Petal; his grandchildren, Ashley Ballard (Josh) of Petal and James Goff (Amanda) of Petal; his great grandchildren, Zella Grace Ballard, Lily Shea Ballard and James Cooper Goff; and his brothers, Winston Phillips (Marty) of Oak Grove and Wendell Phillips (Wista) of Hattiesburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
