He was predeceased by: his parents, German Vogel (Herman David Vogel Sr.) and Myrtie Mae Vogel (Toalson) of Missouri; his son Richard David Vogel; and his siblings, Annamae "Ann" Stewart, Marguerite Elizabeth Spray, Herman David Vogel, Jr., Robert Eugene Vogel and Nathan Franklin Coose.
He is survived by: his wife Imogene Miller Vogel of Petal, MS; his children, Terry Wayne White (Beverly) of Jackson, MS, Suzanne Alexander of Fayetteville, AR, Dronda Gaunce (Dave) of Ocean Springs, MS and Carol Vogel of Petal, MS; and his sister-in-law Agnes Vogel of Cedar Park, TX. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
