He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Long and Sammie Long; and his stepmother Anita Long. He is survived by: his wife Jane Long; his children, David Long (Brooke), Jean Marie Bierman (Todd), April Scott (Ben) and Christopher Hartness; his stepchildren, Bradley and Darlene; and his brothers, Bobby Long (Francis), Wesley Long (Paula) and William "Bill" Long (Angi). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
