She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Franklin and Ora Mae Matthew; and her son Robert V. Hiatt. She is survived by: her sons, Matthew Hiatt (Telia) of Petal and Joseph Herrin of Oak Grove; her grandchildren, Jacob Hiatt (Brandi), Emilee Hiatt, Jenna Pendergrast (Hayden), Dalton Hiatt, Hayden Herrin and Harlen Herrin; and her siblings, Vernon "Skip" Matthew of Petal and Janice Dye (Gene) of Petal. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Forrest Memorial Gardens (1100 Carterville Rd, Petal, MS 39465).
