She was predeceased by: her parents, JC Creel and Oleen Creel; and her brothers, Eddie Gardner, Ronnie Creel and Larry Creel.

She is survived by: her husband Mac "Buster" Byrd; her grandchildren, Cameron Bass, Jaci Price, Peri Byrd, Landunn, Mason, Brandun Patterson, Jessica Boney and Justin McKay; and her siblings, Gayle Moore Fiveash and Jerry Creel. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
