With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bruce Jay Deyoung of Petal, Mississippi, who passed away on October 10, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Naquisa DeYoung; his mother Betty J Edge; and his stepdaughter Rachel Wilson. He is survived by: his children, James DeYoung (Cacee) and Shelly Lankford (Kurt); his stepsons, Jacob Novak (Shaundra) and Matt Novak; his grandsons, Abel and Landon Lankford; his stepgrandchildren, Dylan Durgans, Keyana Durgans and Aiden Wilson; and his pet Skibbles.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southern Pines Animal Shelter in Hattiesburg or the Coastal Conservation Association of Mississippi.
