She was predeceased by: her husband Bythel Burie "B. B." Herrington; her parents, Joseph Vernon and Lela Elsie Williams; her sister Ellender Burkett; and her granddaughter Mary Elizabeth Newton.

She is survived by: her children, Bythel B. "Bubba" Herrington, III (Carol) of Canton, Rebecca Newton (J. Benjamin) of Wiggins and Beverly Byrd (Jeff) of Petal; her grandchildren, Jay Newton of Wiggins, Rachel Newton of Wiggins and Katie Byrd of Petal; and her brother Joseph V. Williams, Jr. of Birmingham, AL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
