She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. John H. James; and her brothers, Luther Stowers and John C. Stowers. She is survived by: her children, Valrie James, Sally O'Flynn (Danny), Susan James and Johnny James; her granddaughters, Kristin James (Kevin), Amanda Graves-Cornelius (Devon), Selah Graves and Hannah Graves; and her great grandchildren, Kingston Cross and Luka Mattice. She is also survived by her family, friends.
