She was predeceased by: her daughter Jeanette Baylis; her husband Austin Ward; her parents, James Floyd and Ila Box; and her sisters, Frances Smith, Moselle Ingram, Vivian O'Steen, Inez Fitzgerald, Myrtle Safrit, Jean Box and Jane Box.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Tommy Baylis of Petal; her grandchildren, Karen Lott (Darren) of Sumrall and Michael Baylis (Kim) of Greensburg, LA; and her sister Gladys Jones of Hernando, MS. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials may be directed to Green's Creek Baptist Church.
