He is survived by: his wife Margaret Janie Kirkland Smith of Perkinston, MS; his children, Brenda Poore, Flat Rock, Charlotte Slade (Ricky) of Gulfport, MS, Elisha Brooks of Brooklyn, MS, Aubrey Smith (Kris) of Perkinston, MS and Darrell Smith of Perkinston, MS; his sister Iris Brock of Perkinston; and his grandchildren, Angela Meadows (C. V.), Tabatha Ezell (Danny), Katrina Walker, Rene Walker, Christie Perez (Johnny), Callahan Slade (Kim), Dylan Smith and Shelby Allen (Ray). He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
